We are a part of Icelandic film production company - Lifsmynd Film Production - which is run by a family of filmmaker, film producer and a script writer / professional guide. Valdimar Leifsson is the film maker and he studied film making in LA, California. He has been working as a filmmaker for over 30 years and specialized in nature and documentary films. In The Cinema are shown some of Lifsmynd´s nature and culture films, many of which were originally made for Icelandic television. The films have been translated and are narrated in English, some also in German and one in French. 

Your hosts at the Cinema are usually the film maker´s wife, Bryndís Kristjánsdóttir professional guide, journalist and script writer, or their son; Arnar Steinn Valdimarsson who has a masters degree in business and has produced many of Lifsmynd films and TV shows. We are also licensed tour operators and can offer travel services and event productions.
